Photo Frustration #BlogFlash2012 Day 5

"It is time to get your picture taken. Please, come sit down. Now." she said using her firmest mommy voice.

The only response she got was shrieking laughter as her daughter ran out of the room and down the hallway.

Tears threatened to fill her eyes as she looked at the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all waiting for her child so they could finish with pictures. Filled with frustration and embarrassment, she forced the tears back and marched resolutely from the room to bring back the child.

  1. Go Mum! pesky children lol. I can just feel the eyes of all those relatives boring into her.Nice piece. xx

  2. Another wonderful piece, Angela! I can't tell you how many times I've tried in vain for the perfect picture. Somehow it seems so much easier with grandchildren!

  3. Oh, agony. My husband still behaves like that at family photo's x.
