Education #BlogFlash2013

I have many concerns about the education that my daughters will receive. I am nervous about public school for a variety of reasons. I'm not completely convinced private schools would be any better even if we could afford to send them. I don't feel capable of educating them on my own with homeschooling. There are many options but so far none of them feel like a perfect fit for our family. I'm thankful that my oldest still has another year of preschool after this one so I don't have to make a decision any time soon. I also need to remind myself that I'm not locked in to any one way of schooling. If we try public school and it isn't working for us I can do research into other options. I just want my girls to receive the best education that will prepare them for whatever they may face in the future.

  1. This is what most parents want for their children - a good education which will more than adequately prepare them for whatever path they choose to take. These days there are so many more options than when my daughter was little!
Good luck finding the right fit for your family, Angela.

  2. This whole concept is very interesting to me. Around here most (almost all, I'd say) kids go to public schools, and the education received is quite good. But I guess it's not the case everywhere in the world. Unfortunately.

  3. While I obviously know nothing about the schools in your area, I see my sister agonizing over the same decision for her daughter right now. One great resource that is now available for students from all over, which can help supplement your daughters' education regardless of where you send them is: I'm told they're effective, clear videos helping students from all over learn.

I love hearing from you! Please share your thoughts with me :-)
