The storm rolled in quickly, the clouds blocking the sun. The wind whipped between the houses creating an eerie sound and stirring waves in the normally still pond. She looked out her bedroom window into her backyard but it appeared to be an alien landscape, completely transformed by the strange light. Uneasiness filled her and she hoped the storm would pass as quickly as it came.
