"It is time to get your picture taken. Please, come sit down. Now." she said using her firmest mommy voice.
The only response she got was shrieking laughter as her daughter ran out of the room and down the hallway.
Tears threatened to fill her eyes as she looked at the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all waiting for her child so they could finish with pictures. Filled with frustration and embarrassment, she forced the tears back and marched resolutely from the room to bring back the child.
