Life doesn’t come with a roadmap. It is full of roadblocks, traffic jams, detours, and the occasional short cut. So often I thought I knew where I was headed only to have something change my direction or my momentum. At this point I thought I would be working in a library using my Master’s degree. Instead I am a stay at home mom and my oldest just started preschool. My life may have taken some unexpected turns to get me to this point but I love where I have ended up.

It just goes to show how different paths can make our journey's different.
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to your post, but from a completely different angle. Less than six months ago I was working, fit and a pro dance teacher and now I have a serious spine condition and am disabled.
Thank you for sharing!
This is a wonderful heartfelt post, Angela! It is amazing how we can detour so much from our original plans - and yet be all the happier for it!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and especially this post! The message you left us with is very "glass half full" and optimism. Thank you, this is exactly what I needed today.
